LiDCO GROUP PLC Registration
of LiDCO's PulseCO System in Japan

Following the conclusion of clinical trials and the subsequent
regulatory submission, LiDCO, the AIM traded hemodynamic monitoring
company, have been informed by their Japanese distributor, Nipro
Corporation ("Nipro" Reuters code 8086.T) of the successful
registration of the PulseCO Monitor in Japan. Nipro have purchased
a substantial number of PulseCO Monitors and LiDCO expects launch
of the PulseCO System in Japan in Q4 of 2003.
Dr Terry O'Brien, LiDCO's Chief Executive, stated: 'We are delighted
to report the registration of the PulseCO System in Japan. The
Japanese market is the second biggest market in the world for
hemodynamic monitoring. We are looking forward to working with
our partners at Nipro to establish the PulseCO Monitor as the
technology of choice for continuous hemodynamic monitoring.'
LiDCO announces that the date of the publication of the Company's
interim results for the half year ending 30th June 2003 will
be the 23 September 2003.
