New product release - LiDCOview Pro

26 February 2008

LiDCO, the UK based, AIM-quoted cardiovascular monitoring company, today announces the launch of its new data viewing and analysis software product LiDCOview Pro.

LiDCOview Pro has been developed as a PC based complementary software tool for LiDCOplus Monitor users. LiDCOview Pro software is designed to display historical hemodynamic data recorded by the LiDCOplus monitor. Clinical research, auditing, training and information sharing are all enhanced by the ability to rapidly convert beat-to-beat data into visual displays and reports.

LiDCOview Pro can display up to 24 hours at a time of hemodynamic data and has built in navigation tools to make finding data of interest very easy. The software also has, for the first time ever, a display of fluid responsiveness parameters showing relevant trends. Analysis and reporting of the data can be made to generate hourly observation reports. Likewise, audits of the data to determine if specific targets have been met, can be generated. LiDCO expect one of its main uses will be to audit the success of early goal directed therapy, through use of the LiDCOplus Monitor, which has been shown to dramatically reduce complications and length of stay.

Terry O'Brien, CEO of LiDCO commented: 'LiDCOview Pro is a valuable addition to the growing LiDCO product family. Complex data can now be analysed and the achievement of therapeutic goals assessed by all staff with access to an ordinary computer and our software. '
